REMINDER | Rhode Island: Large Employer Deadline for RISavers Program

By October 15, 2026, employers in Rhode Island with more than 100 eligible employees must have either facilitated enrollment in the state-sponsored retirement savings program RISavers or sponsored their own qualified retirement plan. Employers who have not met the deadline may receive a notice of noncompliance from the state and will have 30 days to comply with RISavers or adopt an alternative qualified retirement plan before penalties are issued.
