S. A. "Sam" Murray, SPHR
CEO and Cofounder
Principal and cofounder Sam Murray provides leadership and vision to her own firm as well as in areas of emerging human resource strategies and the management of human capital for improved business performance and profitability. She also advises and consults with firms during periods of rightsizing, merger, acquisition and reorganization, where appropriate human resource planning is vital to positive outcomes. Business owners and senior executives appreciate her contributions to their senior decision teams. Ms. Murray is known for her business-improvement perspectives gained through contributions to hundreds of business clients. Her exceptional people evaluation skills have been critical to the successful recruitment of productive senior executives at clients ManagEase serves. Her background includes successful careers in the legal and retail industries. The Society of Human Resource Management certifies her as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. Ms. Murray serves on the Board of Directors for the Irvine Chamber of Commerce, The Dan Black Foundation and the Volunteer Center Orange County.


Peggy Pargoff, PHR
Vice President
Peggy Pargoff serves as a senior business consultant and business development professional and leads the company's Training Division. Prior to joining the executive team at ManagEase in 2002, Peggy served as president and vice president as well as in lead consultant roles in companies focused on healthcare, emerging technologies, international business and professional services markets. She has extensive technical and international experience in addition to human resources. Ms. Pargoff also is an accomplished trainer with years of adult education experience. She started her career as a scientist, and holds a BS in biology from USC and an MS in microbiology from California State University at Long Beach. The Society of Human Resource Management certifies her as a Professional in Human Resources. Ms. Pargoff has volunteered thousands of hours for such causes as public education, adult literacy, domestic violence prevention, and recording for the blind and has served on several non-profit boards, all of which provide her unique insight to serving the company's non-profit clients.


Merrilea East, PHR
Director of Operations
Merrilea East, who has been with ManagEase since 2003, manages operations for all aspects of the company's services including contract oversight, audit and quality assurance, billing, process development, and service scheduling. Prior to joining the company, Ms. East served in other senior management and finance positions. She received her BA degree from Vanguard University of Southern California and also holds a Human Resources Program Certificate, as well as certification as a Professional in Human Resources by the Society of Human Resource Management. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Pat Moore Foundation.


Diane Crandall
Diane Crandall joined the firm in 2007, and manages the company's Resource Department which is the chief compliance service center providing 24/7client support via the HR On-Call service and the Harassment Reporting Hotline and Harassment Investigation services, as well as writing and developing handbooks, policies, documents and briefings, and providing document and training translation services. This department is also responsible for providing continuing education and support to the company's HR teams. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Crandall had a distinguished career in the legal industry, serving as legal secretary, paralegal and then practice administrator for leading firms, for which she managed extensive human resource, compensation and organizational development issues. She has held officer positions in both the Association for Legal Administrators and the Orange County Chapter of Legal Recruiting Administrators.
